Steps to make Cerebrate work for your students:
When deciding what lessons to use, you will want to easily determine your students’ executive function needs. That is why we developed a list of 64 unique, executive function challenges that are simple to identify. The eight challenges in each of the eight skill areas help you determine what is impacting the ability to learn. You can choose any number of challenges from the list, and you can add more at any time, giving you the ability to completely customize each student’s executive function curriculum. If you would like to know what specific challenges are addressed, simply click on the link below.
ChallengesFor measuring executive function competencies with Cerebrate, consider the objective for the lesson to determine what level of development the student is demonstrating. Based on this determination, you may choose to mark the lesson completed or needs to repeat. You may also document the students’ successes and challenges, as well as any modifications you needed to make to the lesson. It might also be helpful to keep track of the implementation strategy you used and whether any of the students’ executive function goals were met with the completion of the lesson.
